From the beginning of week three I decided to start again, keeping a similar design but making it in a way that would end up being much easier to work with. My first attempt wasn't very efficiently built and I realised it would give me alot of problems in the UV stage. I redesigned my shop to make it slightly more interesting but kept some of the assets I used in my first shop so that I could carry those over into this one to save time. I used my refences much more with this design and was much happier with it. I know for next time to take my time at the beginning designing my concept and looking at my research and references and also to take more care in how I'm building things and make sure I am building them in a way that will make the whole process easier.

I also highlighted the areas that I was going to make into a section since I was planning on building this attempt modularly.

I made the basic shape alot faster this time since I found it way easier splitting everything into sections. It also meant I could duplicate things like the floors and the plain walls to reuse on the higher floors.

I reused the fence from my first attempt since I liked the idea of having a little balcony thing over flowing with plants, I kept the ideas of the pipes but moulded them to fit with this shops shape and design.

I copied over my Zbrush plant to make sure he still fit where he was supposed to be and he fit fine I just removed a section of his lower half since the floors are thinner in this model. I also copied over my lamppost.

I then did some research on Unreal and watched some introduction videos on YouTube. I first imported it all separately but wanted to see how it would look all as one so combined all the sections and imported it in as a whole.
